Math Concepts 2The Math Concepts II instruction includes, but is not limited to, topics from the Common Core conceptual categories of Modeling, Geometry, and Statistics & Probability. All coursework is structured to provide students with additional support in practicing key concepts and critical thinking skills with test-taking strategies to prepare students for the MCAS and other standardized tests. Students will practice answering multiple choice, short answer and open response questions with and without the use of calculators.

Algebra 2 HonorsAlgebra II Honors consists of a detailed development of algebraic theory in the rational, real and complex number systems. Students will [1] study the properties and representations of relations with special attention to polynomial, logarithmic, exponential and rational functions, [2] solve linear and nonlinear equations in two variables, as well as problems with powers and roots, and [3] use scientific calculators and computer technology to model and explore critical thinking and problem solving situations.
